We expected seven but in the end only five were able to get to Bisley. This was a great pity because everything was just about perfect: the weather stayed fine there was enough wind to make things interesting, particularly at 600 yards, and our marker worked well for us.
There are big things going on at the Surrey Hut: the bar area is in the middle of a major refurbishment and out of action. We are informed that the work will be complete in April (quite soon, then). As guests of Rob Welford, we were able to get a beer at the LMRA.
