This event was billed as “Cranleigh Tankard and Match v. School”, unfortunately the School had to tell us on 9th May that it would not be possible to send a team. It is a pity that the School shooters could not share in the just about perfect afternoon on the range enjoyed by the nine OCs who contested the Cranleigh Tankard.
Rob Welford won the Tankard, presented to him by Rob Pile, with a score of 96.12 ahead of Adrian Elliott with 94.7 and David King with 93.6; the rest of us could do no better than 91.5.
